Ahoy all,

What better way to spend a rainy weekend (March 12-15th) in Vancouver than checking out Oz Flix. The  Pacific Cinémathèque  is hosting a wicked selection of Aussie films, shorts and documentaries. So, if you are dreaming of warmer places like I am, a single screening at Oz Flix costs less than 10 bucks…a decent price for a great escape don’t ya think?

Guess which film I am going to check out?…yup, you got it…The Bold, The Brave, The Best - a bunch of famous Australian animations curated by Academy Award nominated Anthony Lucas. Included in the 120 minutes there will be 23 well known Aussie animated works from over a half century. Hello, Cool!

Just in case you can’t make it to this years Oz Flix, here is a famous 2003 Australian Film Institute nominee for you to check out.
