Ahoy all,
Instead of sitting around wasting precious energy today with silly blog posts and silly comments about mankind, I will head outside and enjoy a drive in my Hummer up and down Robson Street looking for a parking spot. And when I can’t find a parking spot I will get a little upset and turn up my music really loud to clear my thoughts….
An hour or so later, after a thousand right hand turns around the block, I will still not have found a parking spot. All of those neo-hippies have parked their horse and buggy or electric cars in my deserved spot. I will run out of gas from driving around in circles, so will head to the gas station to fill up my tank for mere pennies; a total of $100.00. I love my 8,500 lbs luxury 4X4 military assault vehicle. It is the ultimate in rugged sophistication, and the best part about my Humvee…I feel like I live in a game world when I drive to the nearby grocery store. Game On!

Happy Earth Day everyone! Do you drive a pink Hummer too?

Ahoy all,
If you are living under a rock and are covered with moss you probably haven’t heard about the over-night sensation named Susan Boyle. The feisty 47 year old Scottish woman surprised the world on April 11th when she sang I Dreamed a Dream in her audition for Britain’s Got Talent. In less than ten days and with over 38 million views on You Tube, Susan’s jaw-dropping performance has got to be the fastest heart-warming video-gone-viral, ever.
Click the photo and watch in awe as Susan Boyle’s moxie makes music history:

Every couple of seconds there is a new comment on You Tube about Miss Boyle’s stellar performance. My favourite comments so far are:
There was a lady called Susan
Who lived with Pebbles the cat
She watched Britain’s Got Talent one night
And said ”Yes I can do that”
So she packed herself a sarnie
And strode out on the stage
She sang her Scottish heart out
And now she’s all the rage

¨°º¤ø„¸ GO! Susan!!¸„ø¤º°¨
¸„ø¤º°¨Ur Awesome!!! `°º¤ø„

Her cat, Pebbles, is now the world’s most famous cat!!

Ahoy all,
I have been looking for a quite some time for the perfect mood lighting and…hooray, I have found my dream lamp! It’s a dachshund dog created by the Korean design group Want and Needs. The creative group have called their pet project “Milki.” Touch the lamp on its muzzle and the LED light will turn on. I want a Milki, and won’t stop barking until I fetch one.

Ahoy all,
To pass the time on your hung-over Sunday morning, you might like to watch this stupendous Japanese stop motion by Takeuchi Taijin. I don’t even want to know how long this video took to create! * 竹内さんは、我々は、良い意味でクレイジーだと思う! Takeuchi-san developed 1300 printed pictures for this wolf and pig chase through his living room. Madness!
“Enjoy a connection with the world of the room and the world in the photograph.”

Ahoy all,
Nothing like jumping rope with a few friends on a beautiful day! Skipping rope can really get the heart pumping and pounding, and it’s probably the most fun way to burn off a couple of calories after gorging on Easter chocolates and ham. Marcella’s Tip: Don’t skip right after eating Easter chocolates and ham.
Even though they lost their rope, you gotta give it to these pros:

And when you find a rope you can always set fire to it like these pros:
